these tutorials are legendary, your work doesn't go unnoticed. no one else on youtube does such in-depth, crystal clear tutorials for ncea mathematics.

This honestly so much better than what I learn in class, you are the go-to exam preparation channel

The mock seemed so much easier compared to this.... thanks for doing the tutorial! (And basically all the work you do on your channel.) So much easier than looking at the schedule and thinking "how the hell did they get that, " lol.

I was really confident for the exam and everything, thought I had calc nailed then I saw the last question on this paper and had no clue how to solve it

hi, thanks so much for this tutorial. I am still very confused on question 3c! are there any other ways to do it? if so, are you able to explain it on your live stream tonight?

On question 2c the parabola he drew should be inverted, because the cubic is negative. The answer is correct but on the graph he drew it as if he was finding where it decreases instead of increases because he drew the parabola upside down. Remember kids, decrease=below the line and increase=above the line. :)

11:59 just got a quick Q, why did you use f ' (0) = 7 to figure out b and not one of the other gradients??

56:40 in question 3b when you got 200h - 12h^2, why did you use h as a common factor, making h(200 - 12h), instead of finding h with the quadratic provided?

For Question 2a, does the coordinate of the turning point matter or does it just have to be in the middle of both x-intercepts and look normal (not too far up or down)

Hey sir, thanks for making these videos, they are always super helpful. If you have the time, would you consider going through some Level 3 Calculus papers to help prepare the Year 13s for the end of year exam? If you are too busy or otherwise then that's fine. Cheers!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think you have drawn the two tangents incorrectly for Q3c at 1:01:21 because the two tangent equations (y=-4x & y=-6.25x) both have negative gradients, so why did you draw one of them with a positive gradient?

When you input the two tangent equations and the cubic function into a Graphics Calculator, the graph is drawn completely different, i.e. the cubic graph cuts through (0, 0) and the two tangents are located near the cubic's maximum point instead of the minimum point.

Hi sir, for the justification part of question 2c, what are we supposed to write? I looked at the schedule but it didn't really make sense (ie. what did it mean by "Shape of original cubic OR shape of parabolic derivative OR check gradient at a point."?) Thank you!!

Im a bit confused about the reading behind the start of question 2c.. How come the cubic is negative due to the fact that k is a constant? Could you please explain?

Hi Sir, I dont really understand question 2e, i am not sure how you did it. Do you have any other videos that explain kinematics?

Hello sir, Question 3c, we are finding the equation of the tangents and the Co-ordinated of both points A & B. Final answer for the tangents, both equations have a negative gradient in their equation...y= -4x & y= -6.25x . If both tangents have negative gradients, then aren't both tangents meant to be in the same direction. If both Tangents are in the same direction due to both equations having a negative gradient then both tangents should be parallel to each and therefore shall never overlap one another at origin (0, 0). I could be wrong, but if not, then can you please explain why so?

the night before the final exam and I'm getting stuck on 1e trying to comprehend how you'd minus the simul equations and stuff
I'm gonna have nightmares about this question popping up tmmr
