Love that thumbnail. Which communicator will be the best? Will it be: Cardo, cardo, cardo, uclear, cardo or cardo?

I've had a packtalk slim for about a year as a daily commuter. I've used it in all weather but snow and it still works perfect. I love it!

Cardo was always waterproof, had the same g9 for over 6 years of daily use.

Had a Sena 10S for years, never worked the way I wanted it too. Switched to Cardo with my buddies to the Bold with JBL... never looked back. Connectivity is way better, audio is way better. Build quality is a little meh but at least Cardo is warrantied for water damage.

Been using the Cardo Freecom 4+ for a while now. Absolutely love it. Sound from the JBL speakers is awesome as long as you make sure they are almost touching your ears so you get full bass and don’t need to turn up the volume too much. Voice commands work flawlessly and battery life is great at around 12 hours. Installation is simple. It took me under 10 minutes to move the entire system from my old helmet to my new.

Have been using a Sena 20S 01 for more than 5 years now and have mentioned my observation.
1) In Line of sight get a range of 1 kms which is very nice
2) Have used it in heavy to very heavy rains and once or twice in the past 5 years had to pull over and wipe the contact points and the unit was back to normal, so water proof ? Maybe no but then who wants to jump into a swimming pool with their helmet on
3) Setting up the unit with fellow riders and your own phone was very simple
4) Ambient mode works just fine, two clicks to the command button and the mode is on/off
5) The universal pairing mode which can pair with any other bluetooth headset including your normal phone headsets is nice useful and saves money to buy another unit for your casual pillion rider
6) The last minute battery warning gets painful but then again I plug my powerbank and the unit become full functional while it's getting charged as well.
7) I appreciate the fact that they have kept the cradle common for a lot of models which gives user an option to opt for just the unit.
8) The unit slides into the cradle unit and locks in firmly and even if accidental the release button gets pressed the unit won't fall

But then again its my experience of Sena and not a comparison as dont have other brand product

"The biggest surprise is that Sena doesn't make an appearance."

Got the Freecom1+. A pleasant surprise is that it works without the mic installed. It even detects the wind noise and increases the sound level. I ride solo and don't do calls while I ride, but do listen to GPS instructions. No need for the mic.

Sena has been awful for years, glad you are finally catching on.

I have the Freecom 1+ and cant fault it. The one missing feature from Cardo is the ability to hear a pedestrian by pressing a coms button so that you don't have to remove your helmet.

I shoehorned a Cardo Packtalk Bold onto my Shoei Neotec II... with zero regret... Shoei made a horrible decision choosing bluetooth connectivity for us... this said, I am so very happy with my Packtalk Bold! Great sound and even with the unit a lil back from the standard position, I use all voice command so no problem and no noticeable additional noise.

My Sena experience has been terrible. Bought the Sena10 Pro, and it's given me nothing but problems. The proprietary connector is it's biggest fault. Having it so you have to purchase compatible hardware or use their specific setup is garbage. If you can use a standard 3.5 jack, you have way more options and ways to fix something that's standard. I've had to RMA my Sena once, and the customer service was terrible. I explicitly told them the problem in great detail, and they still made me correspond with the basic step by step troubleshooting. Once we got to the root of the problem, that I already stated to them, they attempted to send me a speaker replacement, even though I thoroughly explained i have 3 sets of speakers, so that's not the issue. Finally after 2 weeks of the run around, they replaced my unit. But oh boy, guess what? Same issue.

Cardo all the way from now on. Sena needs to take a long hard look at their products and customer relations.

Sena not being on the list is not a surprise at all. They keep moving on to new models before getting out the updates their current models desperately need. But here’s another idea they should think finish your products all the way and make sure they actually work before releasing them! My 30K was such a waste of money. Should have gone with of a pack talk bold.

Im in the market for one of these but I find it hard to justify spending $200+ on a unit . I just picked up a cheap $45 bluetooth unit on Amazon with zero expectations and it wa shockingly good quality. Easy to install, clear audio with no distortion, places and accepts calls, has FM radio and intercom that can link up to 3 devices. Im sure Ill upgrade eventually but for right now I cant complain. As much as I love these Revzilla boys I'd highly recommend checking out a less expensive unit.
