In this Short Video, I discuss the Death of Emperor Domitian which occurred on September 18, 96 A.D. Domitian's death was likely brought on due to his tyrannical reign and his uneasy relationship with the Roman Senate. After his servants murdered him, the Roman Senate appointed his close advisor and friend, Marcus Cocceius Nerva, as Emperor. In an upcoming lecture, I will later discuss the Death of Commodus in 192 A.D.
