We need to start electing more community organizers, and fewer businessmen. A country is not a 'business' - it's a society. And our country is supposed to care for its citizens - even the least of them - instead of this neoliberal, corporatist economic model they've set up and held for the past few decades. Both Parties are guilty, but only one doesn't even try to hide their allegiance to the big corporations. Instead, they come up with wedge issues, like immigration, to divide the workers. Now, they're using these people to 'open up the country', so they can start making money again. And what does the Federal government do? They bail out the big boys, yet again.
