think Angela Anaconda is more "weird" than "ugly". It's just a bunch of black and white photographs of people on colored cartoon bodies. I mean, it's not THAT ugly.

The fact that so many of the Gumby episodes were so random, surreal, and nonsensical is a big part of what makes them so great. If you want to see an Art Clokey stop-action tv show that makes sense, watch Davey and Goliath. Gumby was where Clokey really let his imagination run wild, and it resulted in some beautifully surreal and creative vignettes that really pushed the world animated films in some amazing new directions.
