I'm scared to watch this. It's 1:16 AM and I saw the first Sinister which in my opinion was the first amazing horror movie in a while because of the death tapes. Holy shit the BBQ one haunted me for life... Wish me good luck! *gulps*

Now this is what I don't like. OK, I'll admit I like the idea of giving the interested cop from the first movie some shine. I liked his character. I just don't like how Bagul is in the forefront now. I liked how he was an ominous entity in the shadows. Seeing him, A LOT might I add, kind of takes the scare factor for me. That's just from the trailer though I may see it and love it.

This was honestly a very amazing sequel. Please don't listen to the bad critic reviews. The characters were very well-developed, and the plot was just as great as the first one, if not more intriguing.
I don't understand the bad reviews this film got, but I guess everyone should see it for themselves. But after it was over, I was VERY satisfied after watching Sinister 2 than the first one. I thought this was a very good film overall.

The first One is the best horror movies in the last I remember hearing nothing about this movie. I watched it at my computer. Alone. In my dark appartment. When exactly that scene came up. I paused the movie. Turned on the light in my room. Turned on the tv so i could have some "company" with me. And only listened with 1 ear in my headset. From there on, through the rest of the movie. LOL!
Have never happened to me before. And i watch horror movies a lot.

As long as they stick to the original format (no jump scares and paranoia-laced visuals), I will *adore* this film. I think the first on is one of the best horror films of the modern age and I'll be heartbroken if this sequel shits on it.
