Показать описание
Combining like terms allows us to simplify and calculate our answer with terms that have the same variable and same exponent values. To combine like terms, we add/subtract the coefficients then keep the variable they have in common
What you'll find in this video:
1) Combining Like Terms Rules and Basics (when and how to combine like terms) (0:15)
2) Distributive Property (2:26)
3) Example #1: Combining like terms & Distributive Property (x-1)(x-1) (3:00)
4) Example #2: Negative Coefficients (m+n)- (3m+2n) (4:27)
5) Practice Questions (6:23)
