I purchased a knife from Cy last year and had a wonderful conversation on the phone with him. We talked about cattle, and life, and hardships, and blessings… between that and the videos of him working, I feel like I know him personally, and that knife is truly prized. I look forward to the patina it will gather over years of farm use and skinning game, and how the story of the object will progress long after Cy is gone and hopefully after I’m gone.

Very nice craftworks. Art is something different. There are a few that go lengths in their craft and create wonderful objects. I leave the practicality of a lose connection which screw-mounted connections are with the pros. This is a collectors item with low usage expectations. Great work.

Nice looking knife. In reality I'd rather have a pure metal (non-Demascus) blade, a bone handle, and riveted together if I plan on using and depending on it. Cheers 🇨🇦
