The whisper-shout feature is the killer feature. Simple, yet solves a lot of written communication problems. Would have saved Elaine a relationship that she broke when that guy didn't put an exclamation at the end.

I can personally say that any time someone sends me a picture of pet and i'm not interested, I just say "beautiful dog." So in terms of functional conversations, I don't think Allo is a hit, but there are some other cool features. I'm curious to see the end product and how it compares to iMessage apps.
