Hey! I'm a 12 year old boy with OCD (i've had it since 2nd grade when it was at it's worst, calmed around 3rd-5th grade, but spiked up again during 6th grade and right now, the summer before 7th). My parents are punishing me for my OCD which doesn't make me want to stop at all, and have become angry at my repetitions and obvious hygiene worries. I do admit, I lie to my parents because of their questioning of my soap use, all because of how angry I know they get towards me if i openly admit it. The funny/weird thing is they both work in the medical field and my dad has even TOLD me about his constant checking on things in his college/medical school years.
