Pyramid snails, or Pyrams, are small, pointy snails that bother and can eat invertebrates in the reef tank. They are commonly seen under snails or around clam mantels.

Vermetid snails are in the family Vermetidae. They are snails even though they look like hard tubed worms. They can reproduce and spread throughout your tank so you'll want to remove them.
