Ariana is the face of MAC's Viva Glam campaign, a cause Ariana is excited to be a part of. "I fell in love with the brand at a young age," said Grande. "All of the money made from the lipsticks and the glosses goes towards people affected by HIV/AIDS, and that's a big thing. A lot of brands will give a percentage, or a 'proceeds to go this cause,' but this is all of the money. Every penny made."

Except men and women are not equal in all things. And this whole notion doesn't make much sense. What we should push for is maximizing freedom for women and men. Equality is a natural byproduct from increased freedom. But the notion that men and women will be truly equal is just horseshit. We are not and we will never be in all things. The premise is wrong. I just read Ariana's statement. It's very valid, however, labelling a girl as a guy's ex is not making them property. We call guys girls' exes all the time and they're definitely not crying over it.
