We went on a similar cruise back in October. The weather was much nicer. They say 2 days 1 night but it's barely 24 hours. You get on around noon and back before noon. There are many cruise options so you should check out the activities and destinations. Our cruise stopped by the Ti Top island where we get to climb on the top of the mountain and look down the gorgeous bay. We also visited the amazing Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave. I think it would be better to book the cruise from a travel agent in Hanoi. There are many of them in the old quarter. It's always better to communicate with a real person rather than from a website. They're familiar with the cruises and can recommend the cruise to fit your liking.

Halong Bay is one of those places you won’t soon forget after visiting them - scenic, serene and remote.
