Every time the US people come up and say they are very proud (even to the extent of arrogance) of how great and democratic their country is, I feel sorry for them because, in my eyes, they are just some poor souls deluded by their government since the time they are brought up.

In China, the overwhelming majority of the money that the government received goes back to the public directly. While in the US, most of the money are being pocketed by private companies and institutions in the form of Administration fees, profits and margins. That's why you see everything in the America are so over priced, this included the critical services such as the medical care, pharmaceuticals, transportation infrastructure, education and so much more.

Totally agreed. Democracy can NOT be shaped as”one-size-fits-all” in theory as well as in practice, most importantly can NOT be determined by external organization or state actors.

It matters not whether a cat is black or white, as long as it catches mice —- Chinese democracy

It matters not whether a cat catches mice or not, as long as it’s white —- western democracy.

Thank you so much Jerry. The democracy boat is the biggest con in history. I have lived for many years in UK, NZ, Australia. Never ever seen the governments actually DO what the PEOPLE WANT AND NEED. I know China well since 1998. There, the governments DOES the the PEOPLE WANT AND NEED. No contest. ONE of the reasons for the western world in permanent decline……..

In just such a short time in her history, Democracy has degenerated into a perfect clown show by both the hegemonic parties.

As George Galloway so eloquently says. The current system is just two cheeks of the same backside.

You summed it up perfectly Jerry, Western democracy is dead, and unfortunately Australia is more joined at the hip to the US than ever.

Thank you for the video. I agree with much of what’s said here. Western democracy has become divisive, with half the population feeling like 'winners' and the other half as 'losers, ' creating antagonism rather than unity. Elections are highly polarized, leading to bitter partisanship instead of genuine unity. I’ve become disillusioned with this 'winner-takes-all' system. While I don’t know the Chinese system in depth, I gather that people there seem less focused on partisan divides and more on a government that aims to improve everyone’s standard of living—a sense of unity that feels missing in the West.
