96 people were taken out of penal colony 5 in Kirovo-Chepetsk after the visit of Wagner PMC representatives on September 17, the Gulag net portal reported. In the colony, communication was lost before the arrival of Prigozhin himself, as it happened before in other penal colonies. Mercenaries and private military companies in Russia are proрibited by law, but it does not stop the 'Putin's cook', – Yevgeny Prigozhin, from managing an entire private army and open his own 'Wagner center' in the middle of St. Petersburg.

Prisoners don’t make good troops because they lack self discipline. These will be used in all the most dangerous situations where survivors are rare.

Since Iran, N. Korea and other countries are in/helping Russia I think it's about time NATO, US, to go in and help Ukraine. Slava Ukraini!! Glory to the Heroes!

"I didn't raise my boy to be a soldier,
I brought him up to be my pride and joy,
Who dares to put a musket on his shoulder
To shoot some other mother's darling boy?
Let nations arbitrate their future troubles,
lt time to lay the sword and gun away,
There'd be no war today,
If mothers all would say,
I didn't raise my boy to be a soldier."
WWI song

This is when you get to know how much your Country cares about you. I was a Supervisor for a rehab for recently released convicts and know for a fact that not all convicts are 'bad' people.😐

Russia is one big prison and the warden in Moscow makes all the rules.

It's still unsettling how she talks about being against war. You have to read between the lines - under authoritarian regimes oblique statements are the norm. Ukrainians speak directly!

He heard there was no crime stealing from people in Ukraine AND he would get out in 6 months with his Ukraine fortune. That is what happened.

Son imprisoned for three years from theft. Mother about him being in war "I didn't raise him like that" 😉 Maybe she'd just say that she didn't raise him too well 💔

It’s certainly clear that in Russia laws are only “suggestions” when it comes to being applied to the most powerful or influential members of society and “maximum punishments” when applied to anyone else deemed undesirable or inconvenient. To believe that this current regime in Russia has any interest in truth, decency, or rules would be a fallacy. Slava Ukraini!💪🇺🇦🛸🐺

"Press gangs were well known for the physical force they used in recruiting men into the Royal Navy during the 17th and 18th centuries". And here I was thinking that the days of the press gang had long passed. Russia truly is a primitive country; I won't grace it with the word State.
