I am a Registered Nurse First Assistant. I am Requested by surgeons prior to surgery to show up on the day of surgery and Assist on the case. I am just starting to do my own billing. I understand everything explained in the video. My one question is related to the Charges in section 24.F. My fee is directly related to the surgeon (16% of the surgeon fees). Is there a scheduled fee for the surgeries, or is this completely related to what the surgeon wants to be paid fro their service? How do i know what to charge?
