My favourites are some old pencils from Faber Castell, the must be like 25 years old, and they are the best and smoothest to draw with. I have quite the collection of pencils, good ones from various brands, but nothing feels so natural and easy as the old Fabers. They just translate whatever I think about onto paper.

7:12 a tip for alcohol markers. You can layer the color. So lay down a layer of blue. Then with the same blue do another layer. It will deepen the saturation of the color and make it darker.
Also if you use circular motions for areas instead of the back and forth motion when coloring it helps reduce streaking.

A while back I got the 25 paper pad from SMLT to make gouache paintings after seeing you use it, and it worked well for me, plus it was a reasonable price. The stone book looks gorgeous but I’ll have to get that at a different time 😅
