Shift + CTRL to open up the hidden tab and on the "Internal" tab search up "Enable Multi" make SURE you put "FALSE" in all caps!

The funny thing is- I previously rendered my same project 3 times without it crashing, I didnt add any new files, just tweaked some of the effects I had on there. But now that I've made my final edits, it keeps crashing at about 30% done! I used your tips and now it says my 3 minute video is gonna take an hour or more to render, when normally it takes less 10 mins. But I dont care I just pray it works.

0:26 Disabling GPU acceleration fixed the rendering issues I was having with Twixtor in SVP 13.0. Thank you.

When I disable the GPU acceleration, it tells me i need to restart vegas. When I do that, it defaults back to the original setting. How can I make the change stick?

Thank you, it also solver a rendering problem, there was a static image on the video and the background audio, but after changing this, the video rendered correctly.

When I Try to render on Movie Studio platinum 12 it gives an Error:
An Error Occurred creating the media file
Exception thrown by method called
What should I Do to fix it?
It worked 100% and stopped after system crash and using "Startup repair"

Had an issue with one of my projects (for the first time on my new PC) so I tried this method. With these settings projects render almost 2x slower compared to multi core rendering but no crash/freeze while rendering so thanks man. Not sure if you should always use these settings, seems more like emergency export if it's slower. So I would go with default settings if there is no freeze while rendering, and these settings for corrupted projects.
