Alexanders Wennberg scored the game-tying goal with eight seconds remaining for his second goal of the game, but it was not enough to overcome the St. Louis Blues, with Jake Neighbours scoring the shootout winner to give his team a 3-2 win.

Love seeing Askarov challenging shots from well out of the paint. Glad he got his confidence back quickly after that bumble early.

After a shaky start, Askarov was solid. He deserves more starts. I could see him stealing the crease. He made several great saves.

You have to be impressed with the Sharks' resilience. They never quit. Unfortunately, poor starts, poor passing, and poor shooting doomed them again. You can't expect to win with such few shots on net. I don't know what their problem is in the SO.

askarov look fantastic. tracked the puck well all night. Made himself very big with his pads and cut off angles great. Obviously that first one was embarassing but that's just game 1 jitters

Good game by the Blues tonight, good to have Thomas back in the lineup.

Aside from the whoopsie, askarov played great.

Аскаров не плохо отыграл матч. Главное чтобы тренеры Шаркс больше давали ему игрового времени. Удачи тебе Ярослав!

Askarov, on the first shift, had a ridiculous mistake that hopefully, after some training, will never be made again. Aside from that, a very solid sharks debut. I think he should go back down to the AHL once Vanacek is back, better to get more development. As with pretty much every game since the Utah game the team showed a lot of fight.

If only Askarov didn’t make that mistake in the beginning
