The ability to "shake down" knocked opponents in team modes is nice. You get a scan of the surrounding area to see where their teammates are. Very handy.

don't think this season was built with zb in mind, it feels like you're constantly out in the open with not much to play defensively with like shield bubbles or bunkers. switching to builds this month seems like the play been having a lot more fun there

using the harpoon for fishing is a great tip, i was completely ignoring them until i saw this. Dropping at a boss poi is a must if you want some decent loot off spawn, the Yacht is low key and pretty uncontested at the moment, plus there's a rift very close by after your done looting it. GGs

I'm really enjoying the Chapter 2 map for zero build even though the mode wasn't around during the original run. It just shows how good that year 1-2 epic dev team really was.

The sedan (4 door car) has INSANE knockback compared to the rest of the cars. You can send people 200+ meters if you hit them full speed 😂

One good tip for people having trouble playing solo: survive and go for the bosses, i recommend going for Dynamo tntina or snoop Dogg and meowdas since they'll join your team after you eliminate em and you can get their weapons too.

Am I alone in thinking this season is terribly boring? **Update after about 10 more rounds.** I feel like a nomad wandering from place to place, opening every chest to find the same exact weapons. Going through games with 1 elim. I miss dying in the first minute trying to get Doom's Gauntlets.

So far, I'm enjoying this chapter. My only complaint would be that for some reason I struggle to loot any decent weapon throughout the entire game, meanwhile others have like already epic or legendary weapons almost on drop. I didn't even touch a single Semi Auto Sniper or Tactical shotgun. If I drop on a Boss someone's already there with full shield and an epic shotgun.

New map, new loot pool, new Reload map, new Reload solo option, new battlepass and weekly map changes, all before Chapter 6 drops at the beginning of December. Mixes everything up, keeps it interesting and if you don't like the style, its only for a short time.

ATTENTION RTX OWNERS: if your game is crashing on launch since this season started it might be ray tracing. disabling direct x12 shaders solves this.

in the epic games launcher, in your library, click on the three dots when you hover over fortnite
click options
uncheck direct x12 shaders

Something I want to note for people going to the yatch is that Meowdas is kinda broken, because he throws heals at his feet (or paws?). He doesn't throw them at you or teammates.
