I heard this version a hundred times before I found out it was a Roy Orbison song.

I like Roy's original a lot, but his 1961 track feels like he has a plane to catch. Don's version tastefully and beautifully wrings the drama out of the lyrics. And there are a bunch of Nashville aces backing up DM on this cover. Masterfully done.

Lembro do tempo que Estudava na Escola Estadual Três Poderes, lembro de um dia ja chegando no final de ano todos empolgados em passar de ano e este clássico que tocava muito na epoca enquanto ainda crianças na pre-adolecencia olhava as meninas e sonhavamos. Outra que muito me emociona e a cantora: Charlene (I've Never Been To Me). Parabens pela linda postagem.
