Harmony (Lumbridge) - Runescape Guitar Cover

Here is my arrangement of one of the most nostalgic songs from my childhood, Harmony. This song always brings me back to the good old days of Runescape, when I was a noob and everything was so exciting. There was nothing better than coming home from school, logging on to Runescape and finding those green dots on the mini map. Good times, good times. A few nights ago i found an old camcorder thwt i got for Christmas over 10 years ago. It was one of those with the tiny cd roms that took forever to load and had image quality 😅. Anywat, most all of the disks read incorrectly and i was about to give up and go to sleep when i found 1 disk that still worked. And on it was a 7 or 8 year old me and friend exploring runescape from way back in the day. We stacked books below the camcorder so it would be level with the fat ass old computer moniter i had haha. In the reflection i could see that tony hawks underground was paused on the ps2, and my 7 or 8 year old self and friend looking amazed as we traveled across varrock, went to edgeville near the very popular wilderness at the time, wishing we could pk. We went to the duel arena and dueled each other to see who could win. I won most rimes because i was obsessed with pures at the time, so my strength was higher than my friends and my defense lower. We went to falador and were amazed at the big statues, and white buildings, there was a drop party of a few mill, which we flipped out over, didnt get anything, but still flipped out 😂. All the while Gorillaz feel good inc, godsmack, and harmony played in the background of out squeaky little kid voices filled with excitement. Every time i hear this song, i think of that now, and how happy this dumb little game made me. I still play today, on osrs, heasing off to college soon, But the magical feeling is still gone, no more groups of my friends screwing around or "attempting to pk" and no "big kids" from my middle school hosting clan wars, no more sleep overs obsessing over rs girlfriends and stats, its just me now. I mean, j still have my friend added, and his older brother added, i havent talked to my friend from that video in probably 7 years or sen him as i moved far away, his older brother is maxed on both osrs and rs3, i ocasionally say whats up to him. But this song, brings that feeling back, just a bit, but still enough to put a giant smile of nostalgia on my face. Awesome cover.

fucking beautiful my friend. The music of these games will always stay with me. They go beyond the binary code. In fact they are the accompanying soul and spirit that make rs what is was. They connect me with my childhood. They remind me of just how temporary life is. Awesome! <3
