Is India a military superpower or just a paper tiger? This means the Indian military is just for show, but in reality, it's very weak, says Al Jazeera. So, is this true?
You see, India spends 82 million dollars on the military. It is the 2nd largest army in the world, which comprises 1.45 million active personnel, 4600 tanks, 1000 fighter aircrafts, and helicopters, 250 naval units, and many more.
Not only this, India is a nuclear power with more than 160 nuclear weapons.
That sounds pretty impressive, right? But here's the catch…
More than 50% of the military budget goes to personnel pay and pensions. Much of the military hardware despite the need to upgrade. For example, the MiG-21 aircraft in service since 1964, should have been retired years ago but are still flying and hence easy targets for rivals. That’s exactly how Pakistan shot down Indian MiG-21 aircraft.

Some jobless old country tells that India is weak.
When Obama visited India he wanted our special commandos to give him protection and not some American military. This dude told that Mig-21 crashed but it actually fired and shot down a F16. And when that person was caught, without any fear declared either give our pilot back or face a war. That tie within 2 days he reached back our country. This shows our political and military strength across the world. Even our special commandos only captured and save many ships at Red seas from some Somalian Terrorists.
