Ingredients:

1½ teaspoons red chilli powder, divided use
1½ teaspoons turmeric powder, divided use
400 grams paneer, cut into 1 to 1½-inch cubes

3½ tablespoons mustard oil
1¼ teaspoons mustard seeds
1½ teaspoons cumin seeds
1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
3 teaspoons fennel seeds (saunf)
¾ teaspoon nigella seeds (kalonji)
5 green chillies, deseeded and chopped
250 grams onion (about 2½ medium onions), chopped
¾ teaspoon garlic paste
1½ teaspoons ginger paste
240 ml yogurt, about 1 cup, lightly beaten
1½ teaspoons salt or to taste
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
1½ teaspoons dried mango powder (amchur)
270 grams capsicum (green bell pepper), about 2 capsicum, cut into 1½-inch squares
3 green chillies, deseeded and cut in ½ length wise
