He was A brilliant man, lead by the Lord to teach us and help us grow closer to Him. I believe He was a man after God's own heart. And although, I now have pancreatic cancer, I find that the way Dr. Heiser kept giving to us, even to his death bed, inspires me to do the same and He, along with my loved ones and family who have gone before me, I joyfully look forward to meeting in heaven and thank Him for being a big factor in my ever growing love affair with Jesus. Mrs Heiser, May The Lord comfort you and let you feel our gratitude for the work you and Mike did to help us. You are loved.

Thank you, I can’t imagine there being a rapture. But…. I don’t know

I don't believe it's wise to be dogmatic on any of it. Wait and see. Ultimately, the main purpose for it is God's glory.

The crucial difference lies in the question of whether those who are saved must go through the tribulation. You can make a case either way. Paul said "no, " but Jesus said the days would be shortened lest none would survive. I think some will be converted during the tribulation, especially among the Jews, so maybe I'm a "splitter." I pity those who will suffer either way. Come to Jesus, now!

AMEN! He explains this perfectly, particularly with the pre-trib rapture deception, with all due respect to other believers who hold to this, but its simply not bibical.

Yup. According to early Christians and early church Fathers the rapture is something totally new. Litterally. The early church never believed in the Rapture. That was more like 80s. When it became famous. 🍞🍷⛪️✝️📖📃📿🕊

There's nothing wrong with referring to the last day as the rapture.. I know it's a dispensational word that describes an event in the theology, but so many Christians that have been indoctrinated into the belief can't discern that people who say that the rapture isn't in the bible, are NOT saying that Jesus isn't coming back.. I see this confusion all the time.

Believe in pre-trib. If that doesn't happen, switch to mid trib. If you survive and THAT doesn't happen, switch to post trib.

The agruments here from people who believe Christ died for their sins are not a good look. You all need to check yourself.

Presupposition driven? Can you read?

1 Corinthians 15:51-54 NKJV
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed- [52] in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. [53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. [54] So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 NKJV
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. [17] Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. [18] Therefore comfort one another with these words.

So you’ve defined those who disagree with you as splitters?

And yourself as a harmonizer?

Only in your head my friend not in Gods Word.

1. A Trumpet will sound
2. Corruptible is clothed with incorruptible.
3. The dead in Christ will rise
4. Then we WHO are alive shall be CAUGHT UP WITH

Don’t like the word rapture? Choose another..

Suggestion:

1. Taken Up
2. Gone Up
3. Removed from earth.

Choose my friend and you will still conclude that the rapture happens before the following event…

Revelation 1:7-8 NKJV
Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. [8] "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, " says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

Jude 1:14 NKJV
Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,

How ironic, you arrive at your conclusions due to presumptive reasoning which you accuse others of doing.

He is correct in saying the Rapture and the second coming happen at the same time but he is wrong to say that there is no rapture, but it is true to say the rapture is part of the second coming.
