A BRAND NEW Mario Game Just Dropped...And It's a MUST PLAY | Super Mario & The Rainbow Stars

Today we are checking out the speedrun demo competition of the brand new Mario Fan game: Super Mario & The Rainbow Stars! This fan game is something straight out of my dreams, as it has phenomenal sprite work, incredible music, and feels authentically Nintendo (even though it's not)! Shoutout's to the entire Rainbow Star's Dev team on making such an awesome game so far!

About Super Mario & the Rainbow Stars: One day, the Mario Bros were hanging out near their house until they suddenly received a letter from Peach. They've been invited for the Star Festival! Before that festival starts, they're planning to take a trip with a hot air balloon. Things turn out for the worse once something goes wrong...

Everyone gets scattered, and now it's up to Mario to find his friends, as well as retrieve the Rainbow Stars, which were scattered by the newly awakened Starnox. Mario must get these Rainbow Stars, otherwise the plan of plunging the world into darkness might succeed... Thankfully Mario will be accompanied by many different partners alongside his journey.

From a star kid to a ghostly spirit, and from a blooper pirate to the dark star itself, safe to say Mario will encounter many unique friends and foes on his adventure! This adventure will take you through the archipelago where Yoshis reside, an abstract forest inhabited by many different ghosts, a sky island which holds all 4 seasons at once and more!

I would definitely recommend going back and replaying the tutorial level again and this time reading the signs. The signs teaches you all your different move sets. I also really look forward to your first water level, could be a nice surprise for ya 😉 DGR 5ever (cuz 5 is greater than 4)

DGR doesn't seem to be playing this game right, not that there's a wrong way to play it I suppose. But he completely skipped the tutorial thus not knowing about any of his moves. And you can kick the bombs back in the first boss, I think that you need to spin jump on them, because as he found out, just jumping into them doesn't work. I'm glad that I watched someone else play this yesterday because this isn't the best experience I've seen. Sorry for being salty.

On a side note, could people in the comments stop saying that game is day 1 on-sight for Nintendo? People reply to every Nintendo fan game like this and most of them are unaffected.
