Making a Custom Designed Ceiling Fan | Project Introduction
Показать описание
Seems like I've thrown my own promise regarding these cheap ceiling fans out the window eh?
Budget decorative ceiling fans aren't really a thing here. The cheapest ones are 3 times pricier than this Niko ceiling fan I got. That's why I made one out of materials I have in hand. And that seemed to spark interests from some of my dear viewers.
This will be my first time making something to suit a customer's needs, and that involves some methods of painting that is still foreign to me up to this point. So any discoveries, mistakes, or tricks I might learn during construction, I will be sharing with you guys through a series of videos.
The list of materials you need to build a ceiling fan like mine are:
An industrial ceiling fan
An outbow LED ceiling light
A small steel pipe that can fit inside the motor shaft in your ceiling fan
Wood varnish, or paint
Spray paints
Screws, bolts, & washers, or rivets
For the tools, you just need;
A saw(bandsaws, jigsaws, or just a simple manual saw can work)
A drill, with several drillbit sizes
An angle grinder, with a cutting disc, & sandpaper attachment
80, & 120 grit sandpapers
A screwdriver
Paintbrushes(for applying varnish or paint to the wood)
Stay tune for the complete series on converting a cheap ceiling fan to a spinner type decorative!
