The pistons in the forearms are for Big O's "Sudden Impact" attack, and the machine-guns and ab-rockets are "Cannon Party" and "Missile Party" respectively.

I wish this beast came with parts for "O Thunder" and the "Mobydick Anchors."

I got back from my first ever trip to Japan two weeks ago, and this was one of the things I've picked up. I'm a huge fan of the anime. My only modelling experience prior to my trip is Warhammer, but I picked up some Gunpla too.

Is missing some features and weapons from the Big O but still a neat kit also cool that has a LED function and I mean the Big O does it need that much articulation it wasn't necessarily acrobat in the anime lol

Wow! I completely forgot big-o existed. It was one of the first "serious" anime that I really got into as a kid. Used to stay up and watch this on adult swim. Thanks for the reminder, time to go rewatch it!

I have the old Bandai kit, that one had individually jointed fingers that can find themselves in the abyss but it did come with a nice little figure of Roger. I like how this one has a lot of other modern features the old kit lacked, plus the Griffon is neat little bonus

1/44 SCALE Perfect! Had this preordered from the beginning. Along the way I got into N Scale Trains which are around that Scale. This is going to look so awesome in my dioramas.

My only complaints with this guy are that I wished he came with a swappable eye plate that was just solid white, so they would look right even when it's not lit, and that the little holes on the arms and neck were painted in red. They were shown painted on the promo images.

I know all model kits always show a SUGGESTION for how the builder could paint it, but those are details that are really hard to do, because it's just the outer ring of the holes that are red. Even trying t mask off the area would be very difficult. I wish they had at least included some stickers or something for it. It's a small detail, but it adds a lot to the aesthetic.

I'm just glad the figure does have a similar metallic finish to the promo images. Not quite as nice, but perfectly serviceable.

It's a bit pricey for being so basic in construction. But, yeah... I gotta get it. Would be cool to see the Figma Roger and Dorothy get reissued to coincide with this, or maybe Pop Up Parades
