My advice: enjoy the Karo syrup pecan pie for one day a year. It's not often we get to remember our missing loved ones through the tastes of our childhood. (But skip the smoking. Remember the good, and forget the bad.❤️)

Our family switched to treacle which is a lighter molasses, it's not healthy but it is a little less processed and makes mildly crunchy people happier (and it is better for some family member's allergies)

Loved this! There is a fantastic pecan pie recipe out there that I adopted many years ago that uses maple syrup instead of corn syrup and it is to die for!

All natural maple syrup is actually a fantastic replacement for corn syrup in most recipes! That's how I make homemade marshmallows that taste amazing and aren't nearly as bad for you!
