Wow, this is so beautifully and incredible. I was so struck by the phrase “the streetlights were repossessed”. Like what???!!! How are you going to literally cast a neighborhood into darkness? No one can tell me that things like this aren’t intentional, they want us to fail, but still we rise.

Jess' Dad is the kind of parent who's responsible for the whiny, "praise me", segment that makes up to large a percentage of Millennials and moreso, Gen Z. 👎🤮
