Big Game Hunting Knives Explained, How to Pick the Correct Knife for Cutting up Big Game

This is a collection of the knives I have been using to process elk in the field while elk hunting in the Rocky Mountains.

On average I recommend at least 2 freshly sharpened or brand new knives for each elk you plan to cut up. As skiing, and quartering an elk can really dull knives fast.
