as much as I love the freedom of driving.. it’ll never replace watching the sun set from a train window. something about the way the train moves, and you can just pay attention to it, you feel the calmness of the other train peeps. it’s an irreplaceable vibe.

The artwork here is in fact the Hyde St area of San Francisco, past Russian Hill on the wharf side looking out towards Alcatraz. No longer looks like this sadly, SF is much more "busy" structurally speaking and this picture here looks more like it might be circa 1940s or so.
