As someone who has posted some rather lengthy posts (philosophical and intellectual posts of any depth MUST be somewhat lengthy compared to the usual internet posting material because they are very abstract and, for Objecitism, must be linked to the ontic; i.e. physical and low-level abstraction, world), I find the lack of such discussions appalling. The best ons occurred in at the video on gravity and physics

In fact, the "thumbs up"/"thumbs down" is probably one of the worst ideas ever since it facilitates input without thought or depth. A rational person, if he or she has any thought on a matter would prefer to engage the subject with more than the hit-and-run tactics of the Left or trolls
