Bye bye Leafage, hello Magical Leaf! Also, Sneasel has appeared in cat themed merchandise and was able to learn Assist (Cat's Paw in JP) as an Egg Move. So it's likely both a Cat and a Weasel.

The Sixth Fill-In episode of the Journey to Paldea is a Sprigatito focused episode with her learning Magical Leaf and learning about her backstory. And... next time... it's Dot's turn for development once more!
- 1:04: I mean I would guess Laqua's gonna be a climax of the series thing.
- 2:21: It's a cat, Dani.
- 4:03: You are correct, Beaz. That's a problem at this point that the kids are way weaker than someone like Friede or Amethio.
- 9:28: Marnya.
- 9:41: I don't need to say anything about Sneasel and Weasel since Mokuroh already said something.
- 13:31: The Pokémon English Dub doesn't like to use gendered pronouns for any Pokémon at any point. Most of the time, it is gender-neutral pronouns in the Japanese too with very few exceptions.
- 15:27: Putting more story onto the small details... from episode 1 and 2 here specifically is one of Horizons' big strengths.
- 21:28: Just like Disarming Voice, Magical Leaf cannot miss its target.
- 22:09: The leaves do look a good bit different on Magical Leaf. It's not the exact same. Though many do miss it at first.

Episode Staaafff:
- Written by fill-in writer 土屋理敬 (Michihiro Tsuchiya) who previously wrote episode 35 (Friede and Cap's bond and Cap's cuteness allergy).
- Storyboarded by default storyboarder 尼野浩正 (Hiromasa Amano) who previously storyboarded episode 36 (the Pig episode).
- Directed by 奥野浩行 (Hiroyuki Okuno).
- Animation-supervised by:
* 青葉稜太郎 (Ryōtarō Aoba)
* 平松康佑 (Kōsuke Hiramatsu)
* 彭佩琦 (Pei Qi Peng) - a new one-time animation director
- Okuno, Aoba, Hiramatsu and Peng all work under the banner of スタジオリングス (Studio Lings) to whom the production of this episode was outsourced to for the final time up to this current point even in the Japanese version of the series.
- In-house animators also helped out with this episode alongside animators from Studio Lings creating a pretty good looking episode all things considered. Not as good as the big animation episodes, but still better than most normal episodes and especially most outsourced episodes.
