Billionaire businessman Jared Isaacman becomes the first non-professional astronaut to walk in space.

"Back at home we all have a lot of work to do, but from here Earth sure looks like a perfect world," the businessman said as he stepped out into space.

Mission specialist Sarah Gillis followed Isaacman's spacewalk.

Isaacman is bankrolling the Polaris Dawn mission which blasted off in SpaceX's Crew Dragon spaceship on Tuesday.

Well done SpaceX! first private EVA! their own astronauts, their own rocket, own spacecraft, and own spacesuits...
and it was flawless on the first try!

They were so nervous doing that and rightly so. You don't want to get lost in space.

This is for no fool. Hard guts and a strong heart can handle wide open space this way. Congratulations to the crew.

I'd never get out in space, its the same sort of dread I would feel swimming in the middle of the ocean. Terrifying.

Can you imagine anything more exhilarating than stepping out into space... just to be going that fast with the earth clearly below you😮

This is chris from Canada. This is all well and good but we have to face reality, to have any functional space programs or any deep long term explorations with a live crew, we must develope artificisl gravity, and some type of force field to protect our ships.plain and simple.good luck to all.the future is ours.

Is there a place to follow when they will return, its return path etc? It was neat capturing the return of that dragon a few month back across the USA but would have been better If I had known it was coming and when....
