Beijing health authorities have, in its latest move, included Chinese medicine into the treatment plan for COVID-19 patients, as the city is going through a resurgence of the novel coronavirus after a 56-day streak of no locally transmitted cases. Manufacturers of Chinese patent drugs based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, or TCM, have been working non-stop to produce the much-needed drugs. One of them is Yiling Pharmaceutical, the manufacturer of Lianhua Qingwen – one of the three Chinese medicines that have proven effective in curbing the virus following clinical trials.

China’s fatality from the cv basically stopped in the beginning of April because of the use of TCM, we don’t really need any kind of approval from elsewhere. But for the global market, it is reasonable to elevate standardization.

TCM has years of experience. If Western nations do not believe in TCM, it is fine. It is their loss.
