Bought this watch in Feb and really love it. It is basic but if all you want is front middle and back and keep score this is the one to get.

I returned the first Ion Elite watch within 30 days because it would not hold a charge. The replacement was better but it would shut off golf mode mid-round (usually around hole 15) and I would have to manually reset it to finish my round. I also noticed that the slope function really did not work. I returned it under warranty and they replaced it with no problem except that the replacement watch does the same thing.

Is the middle number on the watch face to the middle of the green or to the pin? So when you manually adjust the pins position will it display the distance to your precise pin? Or just to the middle of the green?

Half way through the round it asks me if I want to continue playing which is annoying now do I resolve this

The watch looks amazing.. but I had so many annoying problems with my old Bushnell watch, screen freezing, pixelated glitchy fonts, rebooting itself at random. I still have the watch but its kinda put me off the brand. I'm waiting for a long term review on this one to prove to me things have changed.

You mentioned you had trouble registering the hazards. I saw a question in another forum with the issue of the watch registering hazards from the tee but not showing hazard data from 150 yards in. Any suggestions of comparable watches without that issue? Unfortunate because looks great otherwise

Garmin Viviactive 4 (or 3) is the best deal on a Golf watch that you can wear every day. Can get at least 2 18 hole rounds out of a charge, lightweight, and accurate.
