The last tropical cyclone to cross the south-east Queensland coast was ex-Tropical Cyclone Zoe in 1974, which arrived less than two months after Cyclone Wanda caused the catastrophic 1974 Brisbane floods (copied from internet) I remember 1974 as my family would have to huddle together in the bathtub as that was said to be the safest place in a home. I was also in a tornado that hit that same year. Right now we are battening down and am getting quite anxious because of my memories of how bad they can get. Stay safe everyone who are in danger
