When equipping weapons, always read their description (or test them) and don't be blinded by their rarity. Rarity means nothing in this game, some weapons are better than the higher rarity equipments/weapon.

Same goes with the ships, a lot of lower rarity units work better than some higher rarity ships.

Synergy is a big thing in this game if you want a strong fleet, always read their skill description. The ships don't matter individually, but how they work with other ships.

I would say limit breaking early has its benefits too, it makes the girls way way more powerful (1st limit break for battleships, 2nd limit break for vanguard and carriers).

The game itself is really fun. And all the really cute anime chicks are just a bonus I just started like 3 days ago and I'm already addicted to this game I love the Demi historical aspect of it with the ships the human avatar version is not too strange I've seen different animes like that but the game itself is really fun and the different aspects like the ship builds in the events and things like that are really fun as well looking forward to progressing in this game for quite some time

Just started playing this game,
I also play Fgo and have been for about an year.
I can happily say this game is far more forgiving than Fgo and more fun.
Nothing feels impossible even when I was starting out.
I also have started to build my fleet and have managed to get Illustrious, Enterprise, Hornet, Yorktown, Prinz Eugen, Warspite, and so many high rarities unlike fgo where you can drain so much money and not get much.
Might just play this more from now on.
