The fact that a lot of people consider Shaq to have underachieved in his career when he was a 4x champ, 3x FMVP, 8x 1st team All-NBA, 2x scoring champ, 15x All Star, and a regular season MVP is a testament to how insanely dominant he was.

Wilt is the GOAT. He lead the NBA in scoring 7 times, rebounding 11 times and in assists 1 assist time. Blocked shots and steals were not official statistics until after he retired or he would have an quintuple double, He would be the all time blocked shots leader. He blocked Kareem's sky hook twice on a single possession and could touch to the top of the backboard.

Wilt was the first big man I witnessed play this game, seen them all since, no disrespect to the others but Chamberlin is the all-time greatest.

All these guy are iconic, but Hakeem Olajuwon is always tops for me. His athleticism, skill, and body control was comparable to the best guards and far beyond any other center, let alone 7-footers. His style was also damn entertaining to watch.

As for Chamberlain, he was just leagues ahead of his time. It would be fun to see how monsterous he could be with modern training and against some of the best of the eras that have come since his time.

Wilt at 4?!
Dude, that is beyond a joke. He's got more NBA records than the other top three put together.

When dirk turned it on against lebron and the heat it changed the way I thought about him. That finals was a masterpiece for him.

Hakeem Olajuwon used to be a soccer player, did not even discover basketball until he was age 15, top 10 NBA player all time for sure

Wilt was, and still is, the greatest athlete to ever exist. Beyond any other NBA player by a mile. No one has even been close to this day. And that's including every person who ever lived.

As a Rockets fan, I love how we retired Yao Ming’s #11 jersey, Ming Dynasty!!!

Dirk made me fall in love with Basketball as a kid. Watching him bring a ship to Dallas, who hadn't won anything since the year I was born (99') in any sport, was truly special. He willed that championship into existence despite all odds. 21 years on one team, taking pay cuts to surround himself with better players... You don't see that anymore. My favorite athlete of all time, and one of the few that I consider a role model

Wilt is the best center and his stats and video proves it.

Wilt Chamberlain still has to this day over 30 NBA records that have not been broken, something that no NBA player has even come close to achieving. Chamberlain averaged over 50 points a game in a season.

Good list, but Wilt should have been #1 and everyone ahead of him shifted down a spot.

When someone else averages 48 minutes, 50 points and 25 rebounds a game he can start to be compared to Wilt.

No way Wilt is 4, 1 or 2, and he was not the only other 7 footer in the league when Kareem came in.

Wilt is number 1 on this list without question. He has records that will never be broken.

Wait, wasn't Hakeem like 6'10, 6'11?

I mean, he's clearly one of the GOATs, but he wasn't a true 7-footer

Not only was Wilt a great defender with probably the most blocks ever, he never fouled out. Not once.
