We see different colors in the world. We have explained coloring phenomenon in Urdu/Hindi. It is due to reflection and absorption of lights. When light falls on an object and it reflects it, we call it reflection of light. On the other hand, if this object absorbs it, we call this phenomenon absorption of light. When white light falls on an object and it absorbs all the wavelengths of light except red, we see red color. Similarly, we see other colors. If it reflects all the wavelengths of light and absorbs none, this material will show white color. On the other hand, if it absorbs all the wavelengths of light and reflects none, we see black color.
