When I’m working in my garden like that, I feel the same way I did when I was little, making mudpies and building clubhouses. It’s creating a little “kingdom” of sorts, and it’s the closest thing I know to the feeling I had playing outside as a child.

Using natural materials that were discarded to beautify the space you are in! Your attitude reminds me of my mother!
My father's job required moving frequently. Sometimes we knew we would not be there very long but mother always beautified every time! "Leave it better than you found it. Use what's here already and add a little thought and elbow grease."
I love watching your videos. Thanks for sharing.

I find gardening to be quite therapeutic. For me, it is the perfect escapism from the woes of life. My garden is constantly changing each year serving as a reminder that nothing stays the same. I anticipate a great planting season!

I wish we had creative neighbors that beautify their landscape like you. I love the sense of thrifty whimsy you bring to the garden!

I love making something out of nothing. People started by looking at me like I was crazy. Then year after year it becomes more and more beautiful. Now people see me and think what is she doing next. They often stop to tell me how much they have enjoyed driving by and seeing my garden.🙂. It's one of my favorite creative outlets.❤️👩🏻‍🌾

Hi sweetie.
I love your concept.
Every garden should be reflection of one's own personality.
Your garden has the essence of enchantment, of fairy tale folklore.
I see so many possibilities and directions you can take this in.
Whatever theme you decide on remember, gardening is fun and therapeutic. The possibilities are endless. I love to see a diamond in the rough such as yours.
Please keep us, your new garden family updated.
I am looking forward to seeing your finished project.
Peace and love.🌻⚘🌷

Great video. I love using natural materials to provide "hardscaping". In our garden I frequently use logs to line our borders and beds. I've even started experimenting with making wattle fences for raised beds using non native woody plants.

I love the clever use of the sycamore logs...which have a very pretty contrasting light and darker bark. It reminds me of camouflage. The winding design, with the stepping stones, is a beautiful natural look. Very creative...

Hi Siloe', If I was making that path which I liked how it turned out, I would have the stones really close together and plant mint in the gapes, yes it takes over the garden but it's easy to cut it back and keep it under control and it smells wonderful when you walk on it and the mint could be mowed with the lawn mower if the stones are low enough.
