Thank you for doing these videos. My 15yo and I replaced our 12yo's iPhone 6 battery on the weekend. We would not have had the confidence to do this if not for your videos showing just how simple it is with the correct tools. We snapped off a battery adhesive tab but managed to recover from it without having to do the pry of shame.

My iPhone screen will be like the 0:10 broken screen (i have a screen protector but the screen protector is unusual because the glass started to separate from the screen plastic frame when i accidentally dropped it). If my iPhone will broke, I’ll repair it (I have the Ifixit pro tech toolkit).

2:58 Make sure you don’t puncture the battery as that might start a fire. Also if your buying a phone off of someone else or someone is giving you there phone make sure they turn off the activation lock on it.

If you put a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on the pull tab when it gets stuck to the bottom of the battery it should free it saving you from prying the battery
