Learning Tagalog

I hope that the message of the video doesn't get misinterpreted, but just in case! The bullying I mention is typical for the age we were and we are totally fine now (afaik)!
I was always in awe of my classmates because they were bilingual. They had the power to build a community based on the languages they knew. Many of them took time to explain the different slang that would never show up in textbooks, were patient with me when I stuttered and used the wrong words, and took the time to make me feel included in conversations even when it took more effort. I'm especially thankful for the people who stood up for me when I was bullied (Shoutout to you guys :D!)

Learning more Tagalog is opening more doors for me and I'm hoping to start leaning even more languages once I feel more comfortable.

I had similar experiences also just for being different though language wasn't involved, Finland is among the most racist/xenophobic countries in Europe but enough about that, glad you got better classmates eventually, and i feel you kinda stepped up your game with this video. :D It was well worth the wait.
