Earth Day and Early Childhood

ARNEC conducted this webinar on 19 April 2023 for an early Earth Day celebration (2023 Theme: Invest In Our Planet) to learn from diverse voices and insights from countries across Asia Pacific calling for the need to invest on the ECD-Climate nexus as a pathway to climate resilience and sustainable development.

The climate crisis is a child rights crisis - and young children are especially vulnerable to it. At the same time, early childhood development (ECD) policies and programs are our most valuable tools to promote climate resilience and adaptive capacity of young children, families, and communities.
