Them and 3 6 Mafia really influence so many modern Southern rappers without realizing it.

German here, for some reason this Album of Bone Thugs n Harmony was a huge Bestseller in Germany when it came out. I still got my original Jewel Case i bought bac in December 1995 at the local German Version of "Radioshack" in Frankfurt am Main.
I got no Idea why Bone Thugs n Harmony was so huge in Germany compared to other European Countries at the Time, but damn they were! Everybody listened to them, even though most of us Germans didn't speak much english back in 1995 (pre Internet and all that) but the Music still resonated a lot and became popular.
Kinda shows you how Music even envokes Feelings when you don't understand the Language

Bone Things-n-Harmony made some of the most beautful hip hop music ever to grace the speakers they showed me that hip hop could be more than just bangers.

Dude I've asked you on Twitter so many times to do something about Bone, so an accumulated 'thank you' for this. They were huge to me as a kid in Cleveland, it makes me sad how little they get mentioned. Krayzie Bone still has one of the best flows I've ever heard.

This album is an absolute masterpiece. My favorite of all time. It's the most cohesive album I've ever heard start to finish.

it’s actually kind of crazy to think of how many hours I spent listening to BTNH. My mom gifted me their signed cds when she met them at her job, I had the resurrection dvd album, and to top it all off both my parents loved Bone Thugs, but what I really love about E.1999 especially is that the album sounds even better to me as an adult than as a kid. It aged extremely well

Didn't realize how much I loved Anthony's reviews until we went 10 days without an upload on the channel. Let's go!

Can we also get a Mystic Stylez classic review in honor of Gangsta Boo?

In my top 5 albums of all time this ranks at #3. An absolute masterpiece. When it came out nothing sounded like it and still to this day it is completely unique. DJ U-Neek deserves a lot of credit for shaping the sound of this album. It was like a match made in heaven with Bone and his beats on this album....both in the right place at the right time.

so glad you reviewed this, I've always felt a weird dissonance between how big of a deal Bone Thugs seem to be when you grow up near Cleveland and then leaving Northeast Ohio and feeling like almost no hip-hop fan under 30 knows who they are.

Cool to see you highlight this album. It's a total classic but it, and Bone Thugs as a group, still flies under the radar of a lot of people nowadays when it comes to 90s rap.

This is one of the first albums that got me into music. Spooky rap has a special place in my heart

"Tha Crossroads" has been overplayed obviously but it has never lost its power, and "1st of tha Month" is still one of the great feel good jams. Never heard the full album, but two of the great singles ever.

EDIT: If your album has all time great songs about endings and new beginnings, probably an all time great record.
