Uvalde families are calling for legal action against law enforcement officers involved in the response to the Rob Elementary School massacre in 2022 following the release of a new Department of Justice report. It’s been 20 months since the DOJ first announced its review in May 2022, and the nearly 600-page report includes disturbing new details. The Justice Department claim children's lives may have been saved if officers had responded differently to a gunman who opened fire at the school. Poor coordination, training, and execution of active shooter protocol contributed to a law enforcement response that the DOJ described as a "failure."

The DA is OBSTRUCTING ...she does NOT want to remove any law enforcement, nor prosecute ANY of them! My hope is these parents and teacher are blessed with a pro bono powerhouse legal team and file a class action lawsuit against EVERYONE involved, including the do nothing DA.

“None of us are safe, because these weapons are on the street.” Bingo!

So happy families got the chance to speak to the public directly after over a year of being gaslit by police and the government.

I couldn’t stay as calm, as you say “do your job”.

Children deserve the same protection as Banks, jewelery stores and courthouses.

The pain is understandable, and the lack of accountability is not. These people who failed these parents should be held accountable and never hold public office again, whether in police uniform or public office.

This demands a large law suit at the very least.

Thoughts and prayers....😢

Ok, get back to the Real issues like banning books, banning drag shows, and letting moms and kids drown in the Rio Grande.

Why don't we admit the obvious...the law enforcement across this country are OUTGUNNED...
and they are too quiet about it.
And yeah, AR15's have been around - but not this many and not the personal arsenals
My family members who've served on police forces in Boston have said so

My late husband who was a marine sniper in Southeast Asia said so
My little brother who served as an army marksman on the DMZ says so

The police unions have to stand up for the safety and well being of their officers and stop caving to the NRA
Officers shouldn't have to run into a firing squad to do their jobs - even if some would gladly do so for their community

We need friggin gun control
PERIOD

The powers that be in Uvalde are running the clock on the statute of limitations. What is native Uvaldean Mathew McCaughey' s point of view? These parents of murdered children unprotected by the response police teams need help and more backing.

DPS fired a few troopers for not being diligent enough, didn't they? Sounds like they were negligent, too.

This was beyond sad. Those in charge that day are responsible for many deaths. Those officers who stood there while children died should lose there badge for life. Find a job where they can be cowards In a storeroom somewhere

8:40 I was hoping he was about to finish making a good point, but was left sorely disappointed. Blaming the gun(s) is like blaming the automobile company for a drunk driver.

This should have never even happened. These were little tiny kids terrified for their lives and they were slaughtered. You cannot bring these children back from something that should have never happened in the first place.
