Here's a quick demo of the synth lead patch used for Pretty Hate Machine's live performances of Sin! The sound was created using a Sequential Circuits Prophet VS synthesizer, then sampled into an E-MU E4X Turbo rackmount sampler which is triggered via MIDI by a Yamaha DX7 keyboard.

Nicely done! I like that you're even using the green buttons on the DX7 to select the different patches.

Hey curious though. So that was Trent's set up, but are you demonstrating the same thing, or did you program this sound with the DX? I know that FM synths can make very Prophet VS-like sounds because of their unique digital waveforms. This does sound slightly different than the original, but it's a really nice emulation with the same character but with a variation in timbre. More clavinet-like with some sparkly top end. I mean it's hard enough to get the tone but to add that sparkle up top the way Roland D-50 synths easily could is impressive.
