minus tempo is when your arm in already swinging and the set goes directly to your hand people are right in saying this is first tempo

spiker should just imagine a ball is on a spike-able position and do a spiking motion

setter will wait till his hand is near that "imaginary ball" once that is like inches away from the point of impact then he sets there,
they'll have an easier minus tempo with the miya twins' minus tempo rather than karasuno's crazy minus tempo because of how broken kageyama's toss is (it stops at the hinata's highest point of impact)

thats just a regular quick tho. all middle blockers even most outside hitter have the ability to hit quicks, this so called "minus tempo" has more precision involved then just going before the ball goes to the setter

Yep almost a minus tempo but jumping and setting still went up at the same time so kinda still under the normal quick
