Relays and Logic Gates - How to Make a Computer: Part I

In this series, I'm going to be explaining how to build a computer from the ground up. Using 19th Century technology, you'll discover the inner workings of the most important thing in your life. This episode: logic gates - the most basic building blocks of digital systems.

Full disclosure, I used a lot of the structure and phrasing from Charles Petzold's book fantastic book "Code" - if you want to read ahead in the series, I can definitely recommend it to teach you more about basic computer science in a readable format.

Sorry for the delay on this video! Basically started remaking the whole thing ~2 weeks ago because I was unhappy with it. Really hope you guys enjoy! Should be able to get the next video in this series out quick. More space content to come eventually.

As someone who went to school for EE, I am very familiar with the application of the logic gates, but never have I learned how the gates actually work. This video was really good.
